What no one tells you about checking all of the boxes.
If you, too, have checked all those proverbial boxes but still find yourself wrestling with a sense of unfulfillment and lack of purpose, here are the three top reasons I believe you are still unhappy — and what you can do about it instead.
Introspection: the power of looking within.
Think back to being a kid and being afraid of a “monster” in the dark corner of your bedroom. When the lights are flicked on, that monster is exposed to be nothing but a pile of old clothes, and fear shifts to acceptance of was right in front of us all along.
I believe, we should also apply those same tricks to our own inner shadows. To shine light onto the dark corners of our hearts and minds with love and acceptance of what’s in front of us.

What to do when you find yourself living in regret.
Whether it be in the words I said (or even more so, words I didn’t say), feelings not expressed clearly, boundaries I didn’t uphold, risks and chances I didn’t take, or the simple fact that despite telling myself at the time that I would have “no regrets about this” … my evolution as a human proved otherwise.
